About me

I am a psychology professor at the research cluster ‚work – education – digitization‘ (Arbeit – Bildung – Digitalisierung) at FernUniversität in Hagen. Previously, I served as visiting professor for work and organizational psychology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, as a postdoctoral researcher in social, work and organizational psychology at Freie Universität Berlin, and received my doctorate from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany.

My main research interest is the interaction of leaders and followers in organizations, with a special focus on the impact of increasing digitization and automation at work.

My research has been published in Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Management and Organization, Applied Psychology: An International Review, European Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Social Issues, German Journal of Human Resource Management, among others.
